Catherine Dangerfield

 

Catherine joined First West in 2010 from TD Waterhouse where she most recently held the position of Senior Regional Manager, Discount Brokerage. Prior to this, she held a variety of positions with TD Canada Trust, including branch manager and HR counselor, and was recognized as a national leader among branch managers in 2007 and 2009. 

With a strong history of mentorship, Catherine established and led a “Women in Wealth” mentoring group with TD Waterhouse, has been an active mentor with the Women in Leadership program and spent two years as a mentor for Minerva’s “Helping Women Work” program. She also established a relationship and partnership between Douglas College and TD Bank for the funding of student bursaries.

Catherine brings a wide variety of skills and experience to her role, including cross-functional teambuilding, sales leadership, and developing organizational quality performance improvements.

Holding an executive MBA from SFU and a BFA from York University, Catherine is very active in her local community. She is a Board Member for the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra and Simon Fraser University MBA Alumni and serves as a volunteer for Midnight Cheer Athletics.
